I am directed by the President to send you his compliments and to say that he proposes to come down to the Galleries tomorrow - afternoon at from 4 to 5 o'clock, for the purpose of examining the business books of the Society -
He begs that you will have the ones containing the complete accounts of Sales at Summer [p. 2] and Winter Exhibitions[3] for the years 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884 1885 - 1886, 1887 & 1888 in readiness for his inspection, and left in charge of the Keeper if you are unable to attend yourself -
