Jeffrey Whitehead Esq,
Newstead,
Wimbledon.

Dear Sir,

I saw Mr Whistler after you called yesterday, & I mentioned to him that you owned one of his medals[3]. He was very much interested & asked me to write to you & say how glad he would be if he could become the possessor of it again. In return for this courtesy he would be pleased to ask your acceptance of one of his drawings or an etching if you cared to have it. Will you kindly write me on the subject.

Faithfully yours,

Ernest G. Brown.
