This could be Purple and Rose: The Lange Leizen of the Six Marks (YMSM 47), sold to Gambart in December 1863 for £100. However, the reference to the 'Paris Picture' suggests that it may have been La Princesse du pays de la porcelaine (YMSM 50), exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1865, or Symphony in White, No. I: The White Girl (YMSM 38), exhibited at the Salon des Refusés in 1863.
