Dear Whistler
Enclosed is check for £100 in full for all claims against us for printing the Venice Etchings[2] to date - From now it is agreed that you will print them whenever required for five 'guineas' a set of twelve, you providing the paper extra help &c -
I am reminded that there is a sum to deduct [p. 2] for the printing press but this perhaps it will be as well to keep separate & you will settle it with Mr Brown[3].
Fai[thfu]lly yours -
Marcus B Huish
The man is to wait on you respecting the decoration[4] on Saturday morning at 11 -
[p. 3] 'Now Huish![5] now my dear Huish! - you know you said Guineas - You proposed that the Board should send me a cheque for a hundred guineas and I at once agreed - gratefully as is my wont -
I am sure that the hundred pounds that reached me is only a mistake -'
