Life:
Annie E. Woodville was a friend of Beatrix Whistler (1857-1896), née Beatrice Philip, artist [more], who worked occasionally for her husband. Beatrix stayed with them after the death of Edward William Godwin (1833-1886), architect and designer [more]. In 1881 Annie and her husband were living at 22 Park Village East. However, they had an apartment directly above the Whistlers in Tite Street later in the 1880s.
