Annie Schletter was an actress.

Life:

Schletter played Celia in the 1884 and 1885 performances of Shakespeare's As You Like It by the Pastoral Players, under the direction of E. W. Godwin, at Coombe Park. JW would almost certainly have met her through Godwin at that time. In 1885, she was living at 20 Albert Hall Mansions.

She was a Fairy to Lady Archibald Campbell's Pierrot (of whom there is an etching by Roussel) in the two character play Le Baiser by Theodore de Banville at Cannizaro Wood, Wimbledon.

According to Mrs Pearse, Annie Schletter performed with her and Coquelin Cadet in Precieuses radicales at the Little Theatre in the Albert Hall.
