Henry Muhrmann was a genre, figure and landscape painter.
Muhrmann exhibited with the New English Art Club in 1887. He exhibited large numbers of works at the Dowdeswell Galleries and Goupil Gallery. He also exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, Liverpool Art Exhibition and Manchester Art Exhibition, and in London at the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Fine Art Society, Grosvenor Gallery, New Gallery and Society of British Artists, a society that appointed JW its President in 1886. He was also invited to exhibit with the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers during JW's presidency.
