Identity:
Dugald or Duncan McCorkindale was an ironfounder and collector of JW's work. He lived at Carfin Hall, Lanarkshire and Glendermott, Rothesay, Isle of Bute.
Life:
His collection included Study: Woman and child (M.1286) and probably Design for a Mosaic (M.1226) and Venus (M.357). It was sold on 6-7 November 1903.
