David Farquharson was a landscape artist and draughtsman.
Farquharson's interest was in painting tonal views of the rural landscape of the Scottish Highlands, England and Holland. Born in Perthshire, he was largely self-taught but his work attracted attention when he settled in London in 1886. He was involved in the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers when JW was President from 1886-1888.
