Rogelio de Egusquiza Barrena was a painter and printmaker.


De Egusquiza was a Symbolist painter and printmaker who was active exhibiting in the 1890s. He was invited to exhibit at the Society of French Painters- Engravers in 1893. A series of his fantastic Wagnerian etchings were published in England in 1894. In 1898 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, retaining his membership until 1902.

In 1887 De Egusquiza was on the committee of the Exposition Internationale de Peinture et de Sculpture at the Galerie Georges Petit, at which JW showed fifty small oils, watercolours and pastels (#04407).
