Crowdy's publications include Some practical hints for Pastel Painting for the Use of Amateurs, London, ?1885; Dorothy Sketches, illustrated by Maurice Greiffenhagen, [London] 1887 (a synopsis of the libretto by B. C. Stephenson of the comic opera Dorothy); The Gallery of Old Masters, London, 1887; My Pleasure Book: containing original tales with numerous illustrations, 1889; introduction to Famous Dickens Pictures, 1911 (a prospectus for the reproduction of twelve water colour drawings by Charles Green in stipple and mezzotint with descriptive extracts from Dickens's works).
