Identity:
Colin Minto Campbell was a pottery manufacturer and M.P. for Woodseat, Rocester and Ashbourne in Staffordshire. He was the son of John Campbell of Liverpool.
Life:
Campbell was elected Conservative MP for Staffordshire North in 1874. He was the principal partner in Messrs Minton of Stoke-on-Trent. He may have known JW in the mid-seventies, when his name appears in an address book (#12714).
