Jean-Pierre-Marcel-Numa Briguiboul was a painter and sculptor.

Life:

Briguiboul entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts on the 4 April 1859. He exhibited at the Salon between 1861 and 1868, and in 1863 was awarded a third class medal. In this year Henri Fantin-Latour made mention of Briguiboul to JW, condescendingly referring to him as an ally of the establishment (#01078). His paintings include Danae, Job, Venus and Adonis and Robespierre dans la salle du Comité de Salut public.
